Reflection on ICT

           We are now living in the  21st century where we are living in the modern world and getting used with a high-tech gadget that has became part of our life.As our world progresses,we should focus our mindset on how to deal with it or in other words to change the traditional way of learning to Information and Communication Technology, ICT .We need to enhance our knowledge more and explore the world wide web to learn new things and adapt with the advance technology.

            In my opinion,ICT integration is one of the best way to implement technology in education.I believe that ICT is an integral feature of a child’s education in the primary phase,and that each individual should be enabled to fully explore the numerous possibilities of ICT.This will subsequently make them realise their fuill potential in this increasingly important area of curriculum.

            With this in mind,i feel that it is vital to incorporate ICT into the daily routine in the classroom as well as ensuring its discrete teaching through the appropriate use of an ICT suite or  provision.Students who are trained to use ICT in their learning process will feel confident in their ability to make full and proper use of ICT in their Secondary careers and subsequently, as adult members of the wider community in which the computer is becoming an increasingly important and powerful tool, both in the workplace and at home.

            Based on the course “Information and Communication Technology in Science” guide by Dr.Sophia which im taking this semester, i realised that, through the usage of technology such as IWB, Data logger,simulation and modelling students have the wide range to have a more extensive and innovative learning in class.It helps to reduce  most of the limitations that occur in traditional way of studying.Therefore, i hope that learning through ICT will be consistant and widespread throughout Malaysia
